Test methods are used for Phenolic Yellowing- 1. ISO 105-X18 2. M&S C20B 3. Tesco TM/137/01 4. Adidas Test Procedure 5.10 Test procedure- A standard test package consists of five test specimens and one control fabric - each separated by a glass plate - making a total of seven glass plates. Each package is wrapped in BHT-free polythene film. The packages are closed and sealed with ordinary adhesive tape. To ensure uniform contact between the test papers and the test specimens, the packages are placed in a Perspirometer. The pressure is standardised by the application of a weight. Place the persoirometer in incubator at a temperature of 50°C ± 3°C. The treatment time is 16 hours. At the end of the test, the Perspirometers are removed from the incubator, the test packages are taken out and are allowed to cool before unwrapping. The specimens are then compared with their originals, and the intensity of yellowing is assessed with a Grey Scale for Staining. 10 1 Comment

denim #Chambray# Chambray Fabric Vs Denim fabric:   Chambray and denim are both fabrics that are made from cotton and are traditionally blue. But the main difference between the two is the type of weave used to make the fabric. This weave determines the characteristics of the fabric as well as its uses. Chambray is mostly used for shirts and dresses, while denim is used for jeans and jackets. A denim shirt, understand that denim is designed with a twill weave while chambray is designed with a plain weave and chambray is softer and less rugged, which is why it's often made as a shirt, whereas denim is for bottoms like women's jeans or jackets.
